Keep Your ERP, Connect Your Business: Tarento Brings Bharat Connect for Business to Dynamics 365

October, 2026

NBBL has introduced Bharat Connect for Business to businesses across India, along with the ecosystem partners building it. Tarento is one of them.

If you run finance in an Indian enterprise, you probably know the month-end routine. Invoices arrive by email and PDF. Payments go out through a separate banking portal. Then someone spends days matching the two by hand.

NPCI Bharat BillPay Limited (NBBL) introduced Bharat Connect for Business to businesses across India as the way to end that routine. It's one interoperable network for invoicing, payments and reconciliation. NBBL presented it together with the ecosystem partners building it, and Tarento is one of those partners.

Tarento's part is a connector that brings Bharat Connect for Business directly into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Business Central. Tarento launched it at Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2026 in Mumbai, and it's live today.

In brief

  • This week's news: NBBL introduced Bharat Connect for Business nationally, with its ecosystem partners, including Tarento.
  • Supported products: Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • What it does: Exchange invoices, make payments and reconcile automatically, all inside the ERP.
  • Launched at: Global Fintech Fest 2026, Mumbai

What is Bharat Connect for Business?

Bharat Connect for Business is a shared digital network where businesses exchange invoices and settle payments with each other, whatever software each side uses.

It's operated by NBBL, a subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). In NBBL's words, it lets buyers and suppliers "present, collect, and reconcile payments digitally," with real-time visibility of every transaction.

The network is growing fast:

  • It processed 2 million invoice-based transactions in Q3 FY26.
  • Invoice volumes grew by an average of 50% month on month over the six months to February 2026.
  • The opportunity is large: India has 7.7 crore MSMEs and generates around 150 crore GST e-invoices a year.

Why does India need a connected B2B payments network?

Because manual invoicing and late payments hit small businesses hardest. There is large amount of working capital locked in unpaid invoices. When invoices, payments and reconciliation live in separate systems, delays build up at every handoff. A single interoperable network is designed to remove those handoffs.

"With Bharat Connect for Business, MSMEs can integrate their existing ERP and business systems, making payments, collections, and reconciliation faster and more streamlined." Noopur Chaturvedi, MD and CEO, NBBL

How does the Dynamics 365 connector work?

The connector sits between Dynamics 365 and the Bharat Connect for Business network. Finance teams keep working in the ERP they already know, and the connector handles everything in between.

You don't need a separate portal, re-keyed data or a new system to replace the one you have.

What can finance teams do without leaving Dynamics 365?

TaskHow it usually worksWith the connector
Sending and receiving invoicesEmail and PDF, entered by handExchanged digitally, even with counterparties on other systems
Making paymentsLogged in to a separate banking portalStarted from your existing ERP workflow
Reconciling paymentsMatched manually at month-endReconciled automatically, using real-time transaction status

What does this mean for businesses?

The connector is designed to deliver:

  • Faster collections, because invoices and payments move on one network
  • Fewer errors, because there's less manual entry and matching
  • Less time lost to manual work, especially at month-end
  • No system replacement, because you keep Dynamics 365 and connect it

And for the MSMEs in your supply chain, digital invoices and payments can mean getting paid sooner.

Because the network is interoperable, a Dynamics 365 business can transact with a supplier on a completely different accounting system. Neither side has to change software.

How can Dynamics 365 customers join the network?

If your business runs Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Business Central, you can join Bharat Connect for Business today through connector. The Microsoft Dynamics team can review your current invoicing, payment and reconciliation process and plan how to connect it.

Frequently asked questions

Which Dynamics 365 products does the connector support? It supports Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, now part of Microsoft's Finance and Supply Chain Management applications, and Dynamics 365 Business Central. Businesses on either product can connect to Bharat Connect for Business without leaving their ERP.

Do I need to replace my ERP to join Bharat Connect for Business? No. The connector links your existing Dynamics 365 system to the network. You keep your ERP, your data and your processes, and gain digital invoicing, payments and automatic reconciliation through Bharat Connect for Business.

What is NBBL? NBBL, or NPCI Bharat BillPay Limited, is a subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India. It operates Bharat Connect, including Bharat Connect for Business, the network for B2B invoicing, payments and reconciliation.
